The project focuses on developing a robust multilingual model for accurately detecting emotions across various languages, with a special emphasis on Tamil and other South Indian languages. In addition, we aim to create a high-quality emotion dataset specifically for Tamil, addressing the unique linguistic and cultural nuances to improve emotion recognition performance in low-resource languages.
