I’m a self-motivated individual, with a keen interest in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Science, and Software Engineering who is passionate about exploring and learning new technologies.

I'm working on the project English to Sinhala Neural Machine Translation.

Brief Description of Project

This project is about developing an NMT system using Transformer architecture for the under-resourced,  domain-specific English to Sinhala translation task. The translation quality is improved by exploring effective ways of incorporating Part-of-Speech (POS) information and subword techniques.
